Eco Farming
Turning Scraps into Sustainability and Social Unity

Eco Farming with Make Soil
Make Soil matches ‘Soil Makers’ (people who compost ) with the nearby ’Soil Supporters’ ( people who contribute waste/scraps). By doing this at scale, worldwide, we are creating a distributed network for organic recycling.
This prevents greenhouse gas emissions, captures carbon, puts nutrients back into the local food system.
We are regenerating the soil for the entire project by composting the food scraps collected from nearby villages & vegetable markets and the compost harvested is used as organic manure for all the plants in the project.
Our Approach

Biodiversity Conservation
By promoting diverse crop varieties and integrating trees and livestock into farming systems, eco-farming enhances ecological resilience and reduces vulnerability to pests and diseases.

Soil Health
Eco-farming prioritizes soil conservation and regeneration through practices such as minimal tillage, cover cropping, and organic matter incorporation, fostering fertile soils that support long-term productivity.

Resource Efficiency
Through techniques like water harvesting, drip irrigation, and renewable energy integration, eco-farming optimizes resource use, reducing waste and environmental degradation.

Community Engagement
Eco-farming emphasizes collaboration with local communities, empowering farmers and fostering knowledge exchange to build resilient, sustainable food systems.
